Not Acting is a Crime

Should you be convicted of being too passive?

I want to tell you today that NOT acting is a crime against society, your family, and YOURSELF.

Take for example what happened on Valentine’s Day in 2018.

Literally less than an hour from where I live, a tragic school shooting happened in Parkland, Florida.

17 people were shot and killed.

Here’s my point:

Criminal charges were brought against the Resource Officer for “INACTION in a mass shooting.”

The school officer on duty had been hired to protect students and staff on campus from such an event.

He was at work on campus that day when the shooting started, but he stayed outside, moving several feet to a position of “increased personal safety” before six people were shot.

The charge accuses the officer of “failing, declining or refusing to confront the shooter.”

So, this man wasn’t charged with doing something wrong…

He was charged for NOT doing something right.

Now let me ask you a question:

If you were on trial, would you get acquitted for taking MASSIVE action in your life to ensure success and financial freedom?

Or would you be convicted of NOT doing enough, taking it easy every weekend, never investing in yourself, and doing the bare minimum just to get by?

Here’s the truth of the matter:

Success in Life is Tied to Massive Actions

How much action is required for success?

Everyone is looking for the secret shortcut—and there are no shortcuts.

The more action you take, the better your chances are of getting a break.

Disciplined, consistent, and persistent actions are more of a determining factor in the creation of success than any other combination of things.

Understanding how to calculate and then take the right amount of action is more important than your concept, idea, invention, or business plan.

Most people fail only because they are operating at the wrong degree of action.

prospecting commitment

A person might only take normal levels of action when it comes to eating healthy and exercising but then over excel (take massive action) when it comes to serving their community.

A person is obviously going to excel and do best in those areas in which he or she invests the most attention and takes the most action.

Though it might sound far-fetched, massive action is the most natural state of action there is for all of us:

Look at children; they’re in constant action, except when something is wrong. Like most kids, I was full-out, all the time—with people frowning and hinting that maybe I should bring it down a notch or two.

Even the most basic elements of the universe in which we live support massive amounts of action.

Dive beneath the surface of the ocean and you will see constant and massive amounts of activity taking place.

Nowhere in any of these environments are there signs of retreat.

Approach each day as though your life and your future depend on your ability to take massive action.

When I started my first business, I had to make it work; there was simply no two ways about it. If I wanted people to know about me and about what I represented, then I was going to have to do a lot—period.

The problem wasn’t the competition; it was obscurity.

10x life

I have been called a lot of things due to my commitment to action—a workaholic, obsessive, greedy, never satisfied, driven, and even manic.

Yet every time I have been labeled, it’s always been by someone operating at less than massive action.

I have never had someone who is more successful than I am considering my excessive action to be a bad thing—because successful people know firsthand what it takes to achieve this kind of success.

They know themselves how to get where they want to go and would NEVER identify massive action as undesirable in any way.

Taking massive action means making somewhat unreasonable choices and then following these up with even more action.

This level of action will be considered by some to be borderline insane, well beyond the agreed-upon social norm—and will always create new problems.

But remember: If you don’t create new problems, then you’re not taking enough action.

No one is going to come to your house and make your dreams come true.

Success really does take MASSIVE action.
