Make a wish and Grant it. Grant is my name and it’s also what I do.
Every day I try to have a positive impact on those around me. I am honored and grateful to be able to make a difference in people’s lives and sometimes a really incredible opportunity comes along to help someone special.
In keeping with my long standing tradition of helping those in need, I am excited to announce that my company, Grant Cardone Enterprises, has donated a significant amount to Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida.
This donation was raised at my 10X Growth Conference which had an overwhelming turnout with attendees contributing to the life-changing organization.
Part of the funds went to granting a wish made by Carlos, a 16 year-old from Orlando. Carlos has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a type of cancer which affects the white blood cells. It is a particularly aggressive form of cancer and requires immediate treatment which can be difficult for both the patient and their family. The mission of Make-A-Wish is to fulfill the wishes of critically ill children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 17 years old. In order to carry out this mission, Make-A-Wish relies upon donations like the one we, Cardone Enterprises. After meeting with Carlos, wish granters learned that he loves his family and enjoys playing video games. Therefore his special wish was a shopping spree for not just himself but his family as well.
Using the money we donated, Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida was able to grant Carlos’s wish in a way that exceeded his expectations. Carlos, along with his mother and sister, were picked up in a limousine and taken to numerous retailers in the area including Sears, Target, and BestBuy. Each retailer rolled out the red carpet for Carlos, with the highlight of the shopping spree occurring at BestBuy when Carlos was presented with a royal cape and crown so he could literally shop like a king. In between store visits, Carlos and his family were treated to a lavish lunch at Texas De Brazil where he enjoyed his favorite food, Churrasco. Carlos and his family were overjoyed and grateful for this incredible experience which we were honored to make possible.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is just one of the many charitable organizations to which we (Cardone Enterprises) contribute.
I myself have struggled early in my life which started with the loss of my father when I was 10 years-old. Since I am now in a position to give something back I continue to do so frequently by raising and contributing millions of dollars for numerous charities. I currently have my own foundation, which helps children without fathers by providing mentors, guidance and education to help steer them towards a successful path in life. Helping others is at the core of every one of my numerous business endeavors ranging from offering free income coaching with my 10X Income Webclass to enabling people of limited means to invest in real estate deals to create cash flow in their lives. I also encourage those I help to help others, the same way I did at my 10X Growth Conference, where I motivated 35,000 attendees to pay it forward.
I told my mother something back when I was 16 years old…
I said…, one day I will be successful and I am going to help a lot of people.”
I meant what I said and I fully intend to not only continue with my philanthropic activities but to increase them by 10X.
