[Video] Examples of a High Impact LinkedIn Headline

Are you using your LinkedIn headline to your best advantage? When your prospects check you out, that’s the first thing they see besides your name. And, if you’re like most sellers, you most likely have your job title listed. That is sooo boring. You need to make it memorable – so you standout in your prospect’s mind as an interesting person, an invaluable resource, or both.

Let me give you some examples.

  • Roz Kodish’s headline reads: "24+ years  promotional products expert at EverythingLogo.com."  She’s letting people know that she has deep expertise – and how to access her.
  • Eric Luhrs calls himself “The Bruce Lee of Sales” and then mentions he cuts sales cycles in half and doubles conversion rates. You can tell he has a personality – and makes a business impact.
  • In her headline, Anja Hartleb says that she’s a strategic advisor to leaders who need to achieve more with less.  Prospects who check her out will immediately know if she’s focused on issues they deal with.
  • And, in his headline, Larry Levine says that he helps organizations actively manage and optimize document output devices. He doesn’t mention a word about his products or services – just the outcomes he delivers.

Good LinkedIn headlines matter. They’re the first thing your prospects see. You can either sound like another boring salesperson or company founder. Or, you can stand out as being an interesting person who’s worth meeting. The choice is yours!LinkedIn headline
