My Story

Each experience brings up insights for improvements. Recently, a purchase was made that requires delivery and installation. Although the delivery was efficient, contacting the service company was almost impossible. After numerous attempts, I finally connected, but doing so made matters worse upon hearing they wouldn’t perform the service for which I hired them. More time was wasted attempting to have the company coordinate the delivery and service to refund the money for the service, which they did.

The company coordinating the service is highly reputable and known for value-driven products and services. Surprisingly, they are partnering with another company that has less than desirable principles for conducting business. The coordinating establishment can lose future business if the partnership continues in the New Year. 

It is essential to examine all aspects of partnerships. The practice of researching online reviews to see what customers say is an excellent place to start. A company’s reputation is at stake if poor reviews get out of hand.

As issues arise, it is best to research companies garnering better reviews and analyze where and how they excel. Doing so can point to potential new partners who mirror an equal level of customer support that you claim for your company.

Responding without emotion to a complaint that may or may not be valid is critical. Nonetheless, by calmly hearing out the customer, we can better determine where a problem may reside and take quick and appropriate action to fix the issue.

When clientele observes our attention to detail and immediate response for resolving issues, it encourages them to do business with us for the long term. Moreover, the actions enable earning a returning and referring clientele – the definition of a Smooth Sale.
