Every day, our articles are read by an audience of over 50,000 people on our site and newsletter. We use our machine intelligence and social media, bolstered by our editorial team, to curate this content.

But 2018 is coming to an end and we want to know: of all of our articles, which are the best of the best? Our machine intelligence, social media, and editors can get us close. But we want that extra special touch that comes from beloved reader feedback.

Judging Criteria

We're judging posts that we see to provide the highest value to industry professionals. Does your article include useful and actionable information? Is it tactical or strategic? Does it provide short- or long-term value? Those are the types of questions our judges will be asking themselves.

PROCESS AND TIMING

Submitting content for consideration

To nominate an article, please email a link of it to Eve Lyons-Berg with "2018 Sales Pro Central MVP nomination: (category)" as the subject line. Articles must have been published between October 1st, 2017 and October 1st, 2018 to be eligible.

Nominations are open until October 26th. After that, our panel of judges will review the nominations and narrow them down to a list of finalists for each category.

Voting

Finalists will be announced on November 14th. Once finalists are announced, we will open up voting to our readers. Voting ends on November 27th. Winners will be announced December 3rd.

Nic Poulos

Partner, Bowery Capital

Nic Poulos is a Partner at Bowery Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm. He focuses on investments in enterprise cloud software, with particular experience in machine learning, supply chain & logistics, healthcare IT, and vertical SaaS. Prior to forming Bowery Capital, Nic worked as an Associate at AOL Ventures, where he helped drive investment in and support of over 20 software startups. Prior to that, he served in a strategy role in AOL, leading various business development initiatives for the company's ad tech properties. Nic began his career in technology Investment Banking at GCA (fka GCA Savvian), where he supported M&A and private financing advisory as an Analyst in the firm's Internet group. Nic also serves as a Board Director for non-profit Impact NYC and holds an A.B. from Princeton University.

Russell Hornfisher

Author, How to Treat Your Employees Like a Dog

Russell Hornfisher has held positions ranging from District Sales Manager to President. He earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Organizational Behavior and Development, and taught in the School of Business at University of Northern Iowa and Eastern Michigan University as an adjunct instructor. In his spare time he has fostered, trained, showed and is currently an AKC and UKC Judge. Most recently, Russell authored a book How to Treat Your Employees Like a Dog.
