Despite my shortcomings, in less that two years I was promoted to sales manager and until twelve years ago, all I did was manage sales reps. As a manager (and as a salesperson), I had my pluses and minuses. While some might view straight commission as being too much pressure, to me it was pure freedom.

Having that diverse background, what really drew you to the world of sales specifically? Alice : I think that I had an epiphany. I’m not sure exactly where it was because at first I was not really thinking of it as, “Oh, I’m going into a career in sales.” We don’t dock their pay, no tax or commission.
